Strip Guiding Systems (Doubling systems) are at present one important point in the tire Industry.  

                                          Operational areas of strip guiding systems are for In-line machines like Innerliner, as well as in off-line

                                          machines such as rewinders and pre-assembly machines.

                                          Applied strips are rubber sheets as well as plastic covered rubber strips and nylon strips.

 

 

The task:       

• For all these strips it is most important to apply the strips in an exact position to the machine or regarding to a master material. Regarding to the master material means regarding it’s edges, to the center line or even to a V-mark placed in center of not edge trimmed materials.

 

The solution:

• To detect and/or guide the master material and to double the strips with doubling systems to the allocated position. Strips are, depending on the construction, separately applied.

 

Benefits:        

• The accurate positioning of the strips and also the possibility to have stored recipes to store product data.
• To update older machines with strip guiding machines is possible.
