Repeat Length Monitoring
Repeat Length Monitoring is used to monitor and track deviations in the print repeat length - on press - compared to a defined standard.
When the actul value compared with the standard varries, warning and alert alarms are started. At the same time, the background color of the readout on the system GUI changes to reflect the state of the alarm.
Description
The display of the Repeat Length Monitor shows the current repeat length. This averaged length will be derived from the synchronisation unit (VC-I/O).
The display is located on the upper left part of the View-Screen.
The deviation is the difference between the programmable target repeat length (standard) and the current, averaged repeat length.
A green background color signals that there is no deviation, or the deviation is smaller than the set warning threshold. The warning light outside the system will show also a green light.
A Yellow yellow background color signals that the deviation is equal to or greater then the warning threshold. The warning light will also change to yellow.
A red background colour will be shown when the deviation is equal or greater than the alarm threshold, and the warning light will also change to red.
The target value of repeat length, the warning and the alarm thresholds are saved with the job data.
