A Case Study In Make Ready Register Control

Presented at the 2002 Flexographic Technical Association Forum, this was THE study which prooved the effectiveness and tremendous cost savings value of automatic make ready register control systems. (Click here to learn more about Premius register and pressure control systems).  Converters in the US, Italy and Canada contributed to the study and to the ROI calculations. 

Today there are over 400 Premius systems operating with Make-Ready register control on them.

An Experiment In Flexo Color Monitoring

This difinitive study, done jointly by persons from BST Pro Mark, PCMC and Fox Valley Technical College, was presented at the 2004 Flexographic Technical Association Forum.  Using on press trials, the study compared color results from a BST Premius Print Process Management system to those from a standard commonly used spectrodensitometer model. The study found that not nly is there a great correlation of results, but that a system like Premius is more effective as a tool for on press color consistency.
