Using the Virtual Repeat function, you can easily navigate the camera. At the touch of a button, the system creates an overview of the complete repeat. Based on this overview, image details can be controlled and displayed easily.

Position Memory with Gallery Function
- Saved positions in the position gallery
With our innovative position memory function, standard on the SHS4000, you can save camera positions (including settings for the zoom, iris and strobes) in seconds. Stored positions are viewed by simplying touching an icon and displayed by touching the desired image. Nothing could be faster or more intuitive!

Programmable Positions Scanning
Using the “Programmable Positions Scan“ function, all stored positions are displyed in sequence. During the scan, the positions are continuously scanned and displayed with all the saved settings, such as split screen and zoom.
- Mode of operation Auto Constant Scan
Auto Constant Scan (ACS)
This automatic scan function samples the repeat both in machine direction and across the web. This simplifies the monitoring of the print repeat and saves time and material with each job. The ACS works with the options “Scan 100%“, a zoom-sensitive scan with automatic step width adjustment for 100% coverage of the pattern repeat and “Step Scan“, with which the pattern repeat is sampled with adjustable step sizes in the X and Y directions.

Combi Scan
With the SHS 4000, your operators can easily and ffectively inspect all relevant quality parameters using the various standard scan functions. This includes not only monitoring of the entire print repeat area, but also checking of critical print features such as register markd, traps, vignettes, print-to-die register and any other critical print area.
Combi Scan function combines scanning of all Programmed Positions and ACS in a continuous loop.
Combi Scan means that building a custom inspection routine for every job is fast and easy and that every job is inspected in the most efficient and productive way.
Multi Function Split Screen
- Split screen with horizontal screen splitting
- Split screen with vertical screen splitting
Split screen has been shown to be very effective for print and color inspection. Master and live images can be displayed simultaneously and compared directly with each other.
In the SUPER HANDYScan 4000 system the screen display can be split both horizontally and vertically.
