SUPER HANDYScan 4000 grows with your needs.
Customize the system to your requirements with the addition of these powerful tools.
Color consistency for each roll of a produced job is a mission critical quality element in the production of printed packages, labels and many other products. Auto Color Monitoring lets you build color consistency INTO every job you run with this Print Process Management tool.
The SUPER HANDYScan 4000 "Color Monitoring“ package assures your jobs are produced with consistent color that meets the customer specifications. Simply enter the standard, define the warning and alert tolerances, select the color space to be used and turn it on. As color begins to drift, the alarm tree alerts the operator and shows which color needs attention. All settings are saved with the job file in the (optional) Job Save Package, so using Color Monitoring on re-runs is even easier.
In an independent study done in 2005, our Color Monitoring was prooven to be MORE effective for color consistency than a spectrophotometer, and delivers results entirely consistent with a spectrophotometer. This powerful on press tool will allow you to maintain color to +/ – 1.0 Delta E.
The Job Save function allos you to save all the settings associated with a particular job and re-use them for the next run. It saves all programmed position, split screen and zoom settings, Virtual Repeat and ACS settings, color positions with standards and tolerances and much more. Opening an existing saved job later is as simple as opening a file.
