Practical add-ons for special applications
Certain web guiding processes continuously repeat themselves. Others vary from application to application.
The BST accessories, such as sensor positioning devices or oscillation systems simplify routine work, save time and help you optimize productivity and quality.
Oscillation
The BST oscillation system enables the controlled lateral displacement of the web of material with an adjustable amplitude (size of the movement) and frequency (speed of the movement).
This functionality is either available as the principle shown on the left, or by means of two independent moveable sensors with an electronic overlay. Oscillation is mainly used for rewinding of tubular films or for materials with an irregular thickness profile in order to avoid poor winding.

The EFE+ allows you to control the web guiding system from any place on the machine. It allows you to:
- Select or change operating mode
- Select or change guide mode (edge, center, line, contrast)
- Manually position the guide
- Adjust the web set point
- Adjust the controller gain
- Set or adjust system oscillation
